Wizz Air traffic up 23.5% in February, but load factor ticks lower
FTSE 250 low-cost airline Wizz Air reported a 23.5% jump in passenger numbers in February, although the load factor nudged lower.

Passenger numbers rose to 2.1m last month from 1.7m in February last year, while the load factor -which gauges how full the planes are - ticked down to 91.2% from 91.9%.
On a rolling 12-month basis, traffic was up 24.3% to 29.1m passengers, while the load factor edged up to 91.3% from 89.8%.
In February, Wizz, which focuses on central and Eastern Europe, announced four new routes to and from Romania and Poland, and further expanded its London Luton base with the allocation of an additional brand new Airbus A321 aircraft. This increased its fleet to eight aircraft in 2018.
