EasyJet traffic up 14% in October but load factor slips

Passenger numbers rose 14.1% from October last year to 8.58m, while the load factor - which gauges how full the planes are - slipped to 90.5% from 92.5% the year before.
On a rolling 12-month basis, passenger numbers increased 10.6% to 89.5m and the load factor ticked down to 92.7% from 92.8%.
Back in September, the company said it expected to deliver full-year 2018 headline pre-tax profit of between £570m and £580m, in the upper half of its previous guidance.
At 0930 GMT, the shares were up 0.6% to 1,232p.
