Britvic said Dunn will continue to play "a full and active role" in the business and remain CFO until the end of his notice period in April 2019. The group will now begin the search process for his successor.
Chief executive officer Simon Litherland said: "Mat has made a significant and positive impact since joining Britvic three years ago. I would like to thank him for his important contribution and wish him well in his new role."
Dunn said: "It's been an absolute privilege to work for Britvic. Over the last three years I have enjoyed working with Simon and the team immensely and I wish them and the company continued success."
ASOS said in a separate statement that Dunn will take up his new role in the spring of next year on a date to be announced in due course.
CEO Nick Beighton said: "I'm looking forward to working with Mathew. He brings us a totally relevant mix of operational experience together with a history of implementing and overseeing finance systems at an international level."
