Eurozone consumer confidence jumps in November
Consumer confidence in the single currency bloc shot higher in November, according to the executive arm of the European Union.
The preliminary reading for euro area consumer confidence in the month of November was 0.1, which marked an improvement of 1.2 points on the prior month, according to the European Commission.
Economists had forecast a reading of -0.8.
An equivalent index for the European Union rose by 0.9 points to -0.7.
