Ten Lifestyle appoints experienced JP Morgan exec to managing director role
Technology-enabled lifestyle and travel platform Ten Lifestyle Group on Wednesday appointed David Porter to the new role of managing director of strategy, customer value proposition and distribution.
Porter will be responsible for the AIM-traded company’s customer acquisition strategy in North America after having spent more than two decades within the consumer cards and private wealth management space in the region.
Toby Gauvain, international managing director of Ten Lifestyle Group, said: "David brings a wealth of experience with him, both from a buyer's perspective in the financial services industry as well as his deep product knowledge of concierge, benefits, and the digital sectors."
Porter joins from JP Morgan Chase & Co where he spent over ten years within the affluent banking and client engagement divisions.
Most recently, he spent four years as managing director, heading up marketing acquisition, analytics and client engagement, and previously spent over a decade at American Express and several years at Lloyds Bank.
Ten said Porter’s experience in customer and product-focused roles will be “an important asset” in the expansion of the company’s North American operations.
"Ten is a unique company that combines an impressive service model with new, exceptionally user-friendly technology. I look forward to helping Ten build new relationships and deepening existing ones as I work to expand availability of its services across North America, for the benefit of institutional clients and their customers," said Porter.
As of 1227 BST, Ten Lifestyle Group’s shares were down 0.49% at 99.01p.
