Seeing Machines extends Guardian agreement with Australian firm
AIM-quoted computer vision technologies firm Seeing Machines has significantly extended an agreement with Western Australia based distributor Connect Source to deliver a further 2,500 units of the company's fleet product, Guardian.

The Guardian units, expected to be sold and installed into the distributor's customers over the coming 18 months, will include ongoing monitoring as part of the agreement, with an agreed timeframe for all installations to be complete by December 2019.
Connect Source, which has been an Australian wide distributor for Seeing Machines' Guardian for just over twelve months, will receive Seeing Machine's second-generation fleet product Guardian Gen 2.

Paul Angelatos, general manager of fleet, rail and off-road over at Seeing Machines, added, "We have made a conscious decision to work more closely with channel partners who are able to leverage the knowledge and relationships with their customers to accelerate sales of Guardian as a safety solution for commercial fleets and transport companies."
As of 0955 BST, Seeing Machines shares had dipped 0.15% to 6.54p.
