The AIM-traded firm said the partnership had immediately resulted in winning an enterprise-sized customer within the UK Government, and further validated its channel strategy.
It said the government department operated one of the largest contact centres in Europe, with PCI-PAL’s selection described as “a testament” to the scalability and ease of connectivity of its AWS cloud platform.
The contract concluded its negotiations which it announced on 5 September, and had a total initial value of £0.85m in the first year, of which £0.61m was licence fees.
“This contract, along with other announced significant customer wins this financial year, further demonstrates the scalability of our partner centric sales and marketing strategy, a key goal for the company,” said PCI-PAL chief executive officer James Barham.
“This strategy is particularly relevant for the public sector where we are increasingly experiencing the benefit of partners who have well-established relationships with organisations that have contact centres.”
