The company, which produces clothing in loud colourful prints, said this was driven by continued growth across both its retail stores and online.
“Retail gross margin, over the same period, is expected to be in line with the prior year as we maintained our disciplined and selective approach to promotional activity,” the company said.
Joules said it operates 118 stores in the UK and Ireland across a range of location types, along with an online shop and wholesale business with more than 1,500 stockists worldwide including John Lewis, Next Label, Nordstrom and Dillards.
Joules shares were down 1p at 309p at 1434 GMT.
