Digital sales of Jurassic World Evolution, Frontier's third game franchise, were strong across PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One following its digital launch on 12 June.
Physical discs were launched on Tuesday.
Following the title's early success, Frontier upped its expectations for the year, noting that, although it's very early in the financial year and the life-cycle of Jurassic World Evolution, revised board projections indicated the group could hit revenues for the year ending 31 May 2019 of almost £88m.
David Braben, Frontier's chief executive, said, "We are pleased with the positive reaction we have seen to the launch of Jurassic World Evolution and its initial sales performance."
"We already have future franchises in different phases of internal development and we will continue to explore other models to accelerate our scale-up," added Braben.
Frontier expects to publish its full-year results on 5 September.
As of 1200 BST, Frontier shares had climbed 7.18% to 1,463p.
